This Gangtok Lachung Darjeeling Tour begins from NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport to Gangtok through the welcoming beautiful landscapes. Explore Gangtok along with TSangu Lake & BABA Mandir. Then go to Yumthang Valley through Lachung and Chungthang. Then back to Gangtok to view Ban-Jhakri Water Falls, Do-Drul Chorten way to Darjeeling, visit Tiger Hill - famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga.

Itineraries
Day 1
Date : September 20, 2025
NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport - Gangtok (128 Kms. / 5 Hrs)
Meet and Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2
Date : September 21, 2025
Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir (53 Kms. / 3 Hrs. one-way)
After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 37 Kms. / 02 Hrs. from Gangtok) and further drive to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft. / 16 Kms. / 01 Hrs. from Tsomgo Lake). Evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Documents for Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir – 02 Passport Size Photo along with Photo Copy of Photo ID Proof (Passport or Driving License or Voter ID (Pan Card & Adhaar Card is not accepted). For Children below 18 years, Birth Certificate / School Id / College Id are must. Original needs to carry while travelling.
In case of Land slide or any other reason, if Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing.
Optional: Nathula Pass exclusive in one vehicle. (closed on every Monday and subject to availability).
Day 3
Date : September 22, 2025
Gangtok - Lachung (116 Kms. / 6 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachung (8,738 Ft.) in North Sikkim. On the way, take a break for some beautiful spots that are worth seeing and visiting like Naga Waterfall, The Confluence of Lachen Chu (River) and Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall. On arrival at Lachung, check into your hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Lachung.

Please note that due to the challenging road conditions in North Sikkim, the Innova Crysta is not recommended for travel in this region.
Day 4
Date : September 23, 2025
Excursion to Yumthang Valley (26 Kms. / 1½ Hrs. one-way)
After breakfast proceed to Yumthang Valley, which is known as Valley of Flowers (12,000 ft.). Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks and winter playgrounds of yetis. On the way back, visit Hot Spring which is considered to have medicinal properties. Back to the hotel in the afternoon. After lunch free for individual activities, Dinner and Overnight stay at Lachung.
Optional: Zero Point exclusive in one vehicle. (Subject to availability).
Day 5
Date : September 24, 2025
Lachung - Gangtok (116 Kms. / 6 Hrs.)
After breakfast, transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival, check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 6
Date : September 25, 2025
Gangtok - Darjeeling (100 Kms. / 4 Hrs.)
After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling (6,950 Ft.). On arrival check-in to hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Optional: Drive Via Namchi or Ravangla. (Subject to availability).
Day 7
Date : September 26, 2025
Darjeeling Full Day Sightseeing with Tiger Hill
Early morning (4:00 AM) visit Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of Permit / Token) and then back to hotel. After breakfast, starting at 8.30 AM, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Optional: Joy Train Ride (Diesel/Steam Engine) (Subject to availability) (rates mentioned on the optional column).
Day 8
Date : September 27, 2025
Darjeeling – NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (75 Kms. / 3 Hrs.)
After breakfast Checkout from hotel and take, the departure transfers to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport for your onward journey.
