Do I need a permit to visit Arunachal Pradesh?
Yes. Indian nationals require an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to enter Arunachal Pradesh. Exotic Yatra arranges the ILP as part of this package. Carry a valid government photo ID and passport-size photographs.
Is Bumla Pass included in the package cost?
No. The Bumla Pass excursion is optional and permit costs approximately ₹5,000 per vehicle, payable separately. It is subject to army clearance and weather conditions.
How do I reach the starting point?
Fly or take a train to Guwahati. The tour begins with a road transfer from Guwahati airport or railway station to Dirang. Book an early morning arrival for a comfortable same-day drive.
Is this trip suitable for senior citizens?
Tawang sits above 10,000 ft and involves long drives on mountain roads. Travellers with heart or respiratory conditions should consult a doctor before booking. The itinerary can be paced with rest days in Tawang.
